My name is Jodie, I’m the artist behind JODEX Engravings.
My background is actually building and repairing motorcycles. This briefly side-quested me to China, to work as part of a race team at Macau. Unfortunately I had to leave my bike related career due to neurological issues after a heavy motorcycle accident.
I do not like to give up… So I decided that now is probably the best time to make use of my artistic skillset. After all, my old man always told me I should give it a go!
It’s rare to find someone who works by hand these days. I believe sameness kills individuality.
And if you are here, I reckon you already know you want more.
With a focus on all things automotive, I mostly work directly on real parts: engine covers, windows, mirrors, lights, and more. Anything that has a visible workable surface area may have the potential to be engraved.
No lasers.
No copy-pasted designs.
No shortcuts! Everything custom made is a one of one!
Everything I create is a unique hand-drawn and engraved work of art. No two pieces will EVER be completely identical… Because they are made by another human being, not a robot. I want to save freehand design.
Whether it’s a drift car, a track bike, or a show pony—every engraving is designed to match the energy of your project.
It’s an exclusive service that I offer. I don’t take on many projects.
This form of art can be time consuming, and each project must have my full focus. For a rough example, I may only be able to complete up to 10 engine covers per year.
This is entirely for the few who see beyond performance.

We’ll chat about your style and your vision for the piece. Then I’ll bring that vision to life.
I prioritise engraving, but I do occasionally offer other forms of art such as painting, which of course could compliment your engraved pieces. Want matching artwork for your garage or even matching gym water bottle? I can make that happen for you.
- Provide details of what you’d like, along with photos of the item in situ (So I can see workable surface)
- Quotation will be made.
- If you accept the quote, I will need to take a deposit before receiving the item.
- I can collect the item from you from some locations in West Midlands UK, or you can ship at your own risk.
- Work commences, you can opt to receive photo updates, or choose to wait until completion.
- I will take the final payment.
- I can then drop off the item to you at some locations in West Midlands UK, or arrange an insured signed for delivery back to your address.
- You can be featured on my website on the JODEX Legends blog. I appreciate photos/videos of items fitted.
